I discovered this fantastic restaurant while browsing Google Maps for a new place to try. Being my first visit, I opted for the à la carte menu and was extremely satisfied with the fresh, high-quality ingredients seasoned to perfection. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was very comfortable. The extensive selection of à la carte options was a pleasant surprise, allowing for a personalized dining experience. Located in Silom, this spot offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for sushi or an omakase treat. I'm already looking forward to returning and exploring more seasonal offerings with friends!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Authentic Sushi in Thaniya – SUSHI SEKIJI If you’re looking for truly delicious sushi in Bangkok, Sushi Sekiji (鮨 石司) in Thaniya is an absolute must-visit. What makes this restaurant special is the authentic Japanese craftsmanship. The sushi is prepared by an experienced Japanese chef who has dedicated his life to sushi. Every piece reflects skill, precision, and respect for seasonal ingredients. Why Sushi Sekiji stands out • Sushi is pre-seasoned by the chef, so you don’t need soy sauce at all • Fresh, beautiful fish that captivates you even before the first bite • Excellent balance of high quality and reasonable pricing • Elegant counter seating with a great atmosphere • Private rooms available, perfect for business dinners, entertaining guests, or group gatherings The concept is simple but powerful: “Seasonal ingredients, crafted by skilled chefs, at accessible prices.” And they truly live up to it. Uni (Sea Urchin) was exceptional. They offer both Narabi (neatly arranged) and Bara (loosely packed). The Bara option is more affordable due to less processing, but the taste is equally amazing. The sushi was honestly breathtaking. The miso-based seasoning was especially memorable, the uni was outstanding, and the negitoro hand-roll, personally handed to us by the chef, came with a wonderful performance. I loved it so much that I visited two days in a row! They also serve grilled dishes and tempura, and the menu is very extensive. From simple yet luxurious à la carte dishes to an excellent selection of sake and alcohol — everything is consistently high quality. This is a restaurant that pursues excellence in ingredients, preparation, technique, pricing, and hospitality. Whether for a casual drink after work, an important business dinner, or a special occasion, Sushi Sekiji fits every scene perfectly. Highly recommended. I will definitely return again and again.
